How To Begin To Meditate?
Meditation is when God speaks to you. Meditation’s purpose is to see Clearly. Meditation and prayer are powerful healers; they enable our soul to communicate with the heart. Love is the most potent healer of them all. When you meditate and connect with God, force (energy) enables the connection.
Being clear about what your intentions are and the results you expect.
You can meditate anytime you like, and wherever feels right. Outside in nature, on your balcony, at the beach, at the park, or any place you are drawn to. Make sure it’s a quiet space where no one will interrupt you.
Make it part of your routine, like exercising, etc. Remember, it’s easy to get distracted and make excuses not to follow through, but once you see the results, you will desire it and look forward to it.

To start a meditation, you first need to sit comfortably. What position feels right for you? Meaning – a space where you won’t wiggle around. A space where you can be still. It may be a yoga position, a comfortable position on the floor, or even sitting upright in your favorite chair.
The objective here is to be still. Once we feel relaxed and still, we can then connect with our breath. When we meditate, we connect to our breath. We learn to gain complete conscious control over our breath.
So take a moment and notice your breath. Really focus on your breathing? How does it feel to you? Can you feel it? If not, wait until you do. This enables us to enter into complete relaxation. Once we connect to the breath, we can be still and mindful. Let your thoughts come and go and remember to concentrate on your breath if they distract you.
Mindfulness is a crucial element of Meditation. Mindfulness enables us to reduce our habit of overthinking, become less emotional or reactive, reduce stress and anxiety, improve memory and mind clarity, and develop better focus. Mindfulness is one of the most effective ways to improve the overall quality of life ( Physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.)
When you are mindful, you are in the present moment. The present moment is all we have in that space and time. The past is gone, and the future is unknown. If we can be in the present moment, our focus is clear. Meditation helps you to get into that space and have a healthy way of being.
Some people will say they have tried Meditation but can’t shut off their minds ( quiet the chatter). When you keep saying you can’t shut off your mind, it reinforces that thought in the brain, which will occur repeatedly. By changing the language of your thoughts, you can slow down, relax, and connect.
Changing your language means stopping saying I can’t quiet the chatter! Instead, change it too; I let my thoughts come and go without acknowledging them. This is a conscious effort to be mindful without the thoughts controlling you. You recognize them and let them go. No energy is given to them to distract you from being still in the present moment.
Practice, Practice, Practice….
Remember to keep it easy. First, do a short meditation. As quick as 2 minutes, then increase it daily. If you try to sit and do one hour, you will get discouraged and quit. So step by step to improve your Meditation. You will enjoy the benefits with wonder.

One way to enjoy your day is to start with Meditation. If you wake up fresh and positive, starting your day with Meditation will be easier. It can or will improve your day because you will feel grounded, centered, and at peace with yourself. It helps you to make better decisions and keeps you in a positive frame of mind.
Stillness will open doors that you never imagined. Being still is freedom. It helps you understand who you are and what you need. It opens you to change and can break habits that no longer serve you! It may give you a new perspective because you are guided by the light (God).
Group meditation is a powerful way of connecting with the collective consciousness. In Group meditation, we sit together in stillness, connect with the breath, and watch what happens. The energy is clear, and the vibrational energy is lifted to a higher consciousness.
There are many different ways to meditate.
